    Hi Everyone,

I'm a Naval Architecture University Student. Currently I'm working on a project of Designing Catamaran Passenger Ferry. As part of my assignment, I need to find an existing Lines Plan and General Arrangement of catamaran type Passenger ferry for use a reference. Length Requirement is 24m , Passenger Capacity is 150 and speed requirement is 20-25 knots.

If anyone has access to a Lines plan , General Arrangement or any other reference materail that will be help me to develop my design. I'm using this strictly for educational purposes only, not for commercial use. I'm looking for any advice or resources you can share! :)

    Thank you!

@Navindu Karuanrathne , I have complete information on a boat slightly smaller than yours, albeit with a larger capacity. But if I send you the body lines plan, general arrangement, and other pertinent information, could you explain to me what part of the project you'll be working on? And, more importantly, what you'll be learning?

    Sir,
In this design project I'm conducting Numerical regression method for analyze the main particulars of the catamaran. Main Particulars are not finalized yet. I'm finding GA and Lines plan for my reference. In my classes, theories and designs of Mono Hull type vessels were covered well. But Catamaran type hull design not covered much. I have some doubts about Catamaran Hull shapes. I want to get idea about how weights are distribute efficiently, what is the better position for the LCG comparing with the monohull boat, what are better location for the engines etc. I want to validate my values for above criterias with reference values.
    Thank you!

Why don't we do it the other way around? You tell me what you have, and I'll tell you if it seems right to me.

Might the attached papers help you a bit?
The first one has various body plans for different catamaran hulls in it.
The second one explains the procedure for designing a hull from first principles.
The third paper is about resistance experiments with catamarans, but it also includes various different body plans for power catamarans.
