Bulkhead Stress Crack Repair

    Another thing to consider a simple tap test. If the hull sounds far different in the damaged area; the laminates are compromised which we already think. How much is the question. If so, the next thing would be to determine the extent. A next step may be an inspection camera and an expert eye on the inside. If the inside looks unaffected; fix all from outside.

    It can be also be fixed from the outside if inside laminates are affected, but not by amateurs. To fix from the outside; you remove a section of damaged laminate and use a prerelease method to bond back in for the repair using epoxy on the inside and gelcoat friendly resins out. The outside needs fixin either way. A lot depends on workspace on the inside; you don’t need much, but you need some.
