Replacment Morse cable?

    The newer Seastar hydraulic systems do not use NPT pipe thread any more. They have a special parallel thread with an o ring. Screwing an NPT into the cylinder or helm can/will ruin the female fitting. UNLESS IT IS THE OLDER STYLE

    Note the o ring/washer, I think that they call these ORB2 fittings

    That's why I use the sb marine helms. Hate how long behind the dash the orb2 fitting adapters become. In the laz it's doable although a simple corrosion resistant jic would be my first choice, nevertheless usually more room astern then behind a console.
