The delta wing keel of these classics works wonderfully because when yaw/leeway increases the centre of the sum of the pressures moves aft

The temptation then, as Thomas Harrison Butler says, is to put more lateral plane aft, that is to say the logical thing following this path would be a vertical rudder

But empirically Alfred Turner saw that this (difficult to understand detail of the) inclined trailing edge was better

Your extravagant praise of your own posts is weird.

I am pleased that our administrator has not yet trashed the videos in this thread. In fact I am attracted to music that has a Spanish flair.

Carlos has my attention. While in college aero dynamic classes I was most interested in the influence of drag, lift, steering effects, and such stuff on wheeled vehicles. Unfortunately my Prof was a retired Navy pilot guy who believed that any study of phenomena that addressed less than trans sonic velocities was a waste of time. We butted heads. I lost..... and decided to change my major.

Carlos........you have a novel way of posting in a boat design forum. What the heck, most of our threads are about boats and their behaviors. A little bit of departure can be refreshing........
