In an ongoing effort to source only DIY materials, a spec calling for a stock length of 1” square softwood spar and two of quarter-inch stripwood, beside a sheet of ply cut in ways you could pitch to a chimpanzee. Insulation foam can be sourced from similar outlets, so that only a monoski section needs ordering in. Nonetheless PVC extrusions of 1.50mm and a width of 4” or 5”, for example, are readily available online.
