An acquaintance of mine is selling his 75 foot retired "Blue Boat".
He bought it 10 years ago from the Canadian Navy.
If you scroll down you can see his boat details.
It is currently in Ucluelet, BC, Canada on private moorage.
It is well maintained.

It hasn't even been listed anywhere yet.
I've been aboard but I don't know of any recent pictures.
I bumped into Richard the other day and he told me
he is forced to sell for personal reasons.

Well, I'll be watching for it. I'm sure he's built up the interior if he's had it for ten years or so. There's a YAG I'm looking at on Saturday in Comox. Not much done inside. I'm very interested in the type and wish I'd been around when the Navy sold them originally.

 

Well if you're going to be in Comox, you may as well go by Ucluelet.
I don't know where it is other than on a private dock.
I'll have a quick look on Google Earth and see if I can find it, I know the area.

 

No luck. Found an old BCFerry though!
He's not on AIS either.
Unfortunately, the number I have for him is no longer his...
Not sure when or where I might bump into him again but
I suspect it'll be soon.

Jeff, I haven't bumped into Richard again, sorry.
I've talked to a couple of brokers, neither were interested in getting involved.
I've been looking for an ad for it on Google but nothing new presents.
Eventually, I will see him again. It's not going to be an easy sell.
Pretty limited market for a boat like that.

If you ever get a chance to drop a picture on here; please consider it. I’ve seen the boat in auction pics n such, but they are not the same as some up close pics of saloon n helm station, etc.
