It's a very basic question but I scored zero when googling. So here goes.

I'm moving an older radar setup from my new project boat (Capo 11J with single FPT N550 and Konrad 680B) to my 1966 Finnish pilot boat. The CRT unit is a R41XX with a two lead power supply, black and white. But I have no idea which is positive and which is negative.

    Please advice :)

Hi Magnus, the white is connected to + in the "white/black" cable standard used by Raytheon. If there is a shield in this supply cable, connect it to the equipment ground. There is also a shield in the 14 string cable between monitor and antenna, which must be grounded.
