New guy here, I recently rebuilt my 71-C Velvet Drive 10-04 V-drive. When I ordered the gasket kit it came with a reduction gear gasket, which I installed(oops). After testing the transmission it seems as if I'm not getting flow to the pump from the V-Drive. I found the correct gasket, and its ordered. My question is, because the first gasket blocks 2 of the three ports on the bottom of the V-Drive, to transmission, its my suspicion that why I have no flow? No flow=no go ! I hope this is the problem, anyway please help.
    Thanks

Welcome to the forum Water Dog... that sounds relatively familiar. It's been a minute since I resealed one however.
Are you certain that the pump was installed to match the rotation of the motor?
