Aloha, Hawaii!! August 25, 1999 - The ULRS HAWAII race is on! UHRA Commissioner Ken Muscatel has heard from Larry Warnken (Race Director) that the U.S. Navy - JN Chevrolet - Hydrofest at Pearl Harbor will include the Unlimited Lights October 8-10, 1999. Details are currently being worked out with Bob Curran, tour coordinator and Matson Shipping Lines. The teams will be shipping boats and trailers and the local Honolulu boat racers have offered to assist us with transportation around the island. |

All boats and equipment should be at the Matson Lines, Terminal Island Facility, in Los Angeles Harbor, between 8 a.m. Tuesday, September 21st and 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 22nd. The Matson ships will arrive in Honolulu September 30th. Loading for the trip back will be October 11th and 12th and will arrive in Long Beach for pickup October 22nd. That is a Friday and there will be no pickup Saturday or Sunday, so the next pickup would be the following Monday. |
